Joseph Cope is Founder and CEO of Cope Connelly, a specialty financial services firm serving the dental community. After graduating from the George Washington University, Joseph entered the financial services industry, where he has over a decade of experience. He began his career quickly attaining top young advisor status at Prudential Financial, leading in several key categories and attending prestigious leadership development training. While growing his practice at First Financial Group, Joseph began working extensively with the dental community and from that commitment and connection, Cope Connelly was born. Joseph now leads Cope Connelly, helping individuals around the country protect their families and businesses and maximize their wealth. Joseph spends time speaking at dental schools, residency programs and associations. He is a member of NAIFA and volunteers at organizations that support children, and the elderly.

Joe is a Vice President in the Washington, D.C. Metro office of AXA Advisors. He started his career in financial services as a Retirement Benefits Specialist with AXA in Jacksonville. Here in the D.C. Metro office, he leads a team of highly qualified consultants that help accumulate and protect the wealth of local families, small businesses and non-profits. By collaborating with a team of specialists, they ensure top caliber service for their clientele. Joe’s specialties lie in comprehensive and advanced planning strategies, which give his clients the information and confidence they need to achieve their financial goals. Ryan Buck is Vice President and Co-Founder of Freedom Broker Services, LLC, which he proudly helped to build from the ground up in 2008. His specialties range from in-depth case design and illustration support to using permanent Life solutions in retirement planning, business succession planning and estate planning. Ryan spent his early career focused on financial planning within the deaf community, a result of his personal experiences in growing up as the son of a deaf mother which enabled him to use his fluency in ASL and strengthened his passion for helping others. Ryan combined his personal aptitudes with his dedication to the insurance industry and translated his skill sets towards participating in various charitable functions over the years. Ryan has been a 15 year contributing member to NAIFA, and currently serves on the board for NAIFA-Greater Washington DC.
Matthew Friedson, Greenberg, Wexler, & Eig, Years in the Industry: 11
Matthew Friedson joined Greenberg, Wexler & Eig as an Insurance Advisor in 2013. Matthew specializes in the applications of life, disability and long term care insurance for businesses, estates and individuals. His work consists of educating clients and helping them both develop and implement creative strategies to meet their objectives. He began his career focused on insurance planning in 2006 with Massachusetts Mutual. Matthew then joined alongside industry veteran George Reese Jr. at The Compensation Design Company to provide the next generation of support and to service to existing clients and new clients alike. George and Matthew have spent the last five years successfully completing the succession of George’s practice.
